About us

The Foam Box is a kitchen table business, run by myself (Roxy), a work at home mum, and helped by my husband, Jem, and my daughter, Poppy (born April 2003). I started experimenting with making soaps for friends and family, and enjoyed myself so much I started to fill the house up with soap, and was handing it out to people faster than they could use it (I did try demanding that they wash several times a day). My soaps were popular, I didn’t want to stop, and instead got the inkling that I could set up a business that would allow me to work from home.

We are based in Westcliff-on-Sea in Essex, which may explain the sea theme you will see running through many of our soaps. As well as two cats, Morph and Gimli, we keep chickens and enjoy very fresh eggs.
